When you set up a visit with one of the
profiled authors or illustrators
on our website, we will provide the books for you to sell
and to have the author/illustrator autograph at your site.
Please read all of the following information about book ordering.
1. You are welcome to order as many copies
of the author/illustrator’s books as you think will
sell at your site, either during pre-sales (before the day
of the actual visit) or on the day of the presentation. Be
aware that there is a 15 book minimum order. Books not sold
may be returned to Alphabet Books free of charge, but of course
we encourage you to be thoughtful about the quantities of
books you expect to sell. If you’re not sure how many
books to order, contact us. Books
are fully returnable within 30 days of the visit. Limit your
selection of books for sale to 5-10 of the author/illustrator’s
books—a smaller selection of titles will make managing
sales easier for you. We are always happy to help you select
titles and decide on quantity.
2. Order your books 4-6 weeks ahead of the
visit. We strongly recommend that you order at least 6 weeks
ahead to ensure that the books are available and will arrive
in adequate time and in the correct amounts.
3. Minimum order required for each visit:
15 books, single title or multiple titles.
If you are not able to sell all the books
you have ordered, you can return the unsold books within 30
days of the visit. Please call or e-mail ahead for shipping
details. You must notify us about your returns so that we
can adjust your invoice for the books accordingly. Note:
All book returns must be pre-approved by Alphabet Books and
accompanied by payment of the adjusted invoice.
